| This is my M-14 NM rifle. It's a recreation of the original M14 NM rifle made by the Marines with a couple modern improvements. I started this one with one of our rear lugged receivers made by Armscorp. It's full length steel bedded to one of my handmade semi fancy English walnut GI contour stocks. The barrel is a medium weight stainless steel Kreiger match barrel. I coated it with Duracoat Matte black to make it look right. I hate the look of stainless on a classic rifle. Rear sight is a modified GI assembly with hooded .595 aperture and a custom lens insert for my aging eyes. It helps to sharpen the front sight while still focusing on the target. Front sight is a standard issue GI modified to NM specs OP rod is TRW USGI Bolt is SA USGI Gas group is USGI and has been unitized by welding Flashhider is modern commercial NM without a bayonet lug. That will be changing as soon as I get more GI ones in.
